Announcements for July 18, 2010
Men: On Tuesday mornings we are beginning a study in the book of Isaiah. We meet at 5:00am at Denny’s in Cameron Park. All men are welcome!
Jail: There will be a Jail Ministry Meeting this Tuesday at 7:00pm. All current volunteers, and those interested in this important ministry, are urged to attend.
Fun: Volleyball anyone? All are welcome to join us for fun and fellowship every Thursday night at 6:00pm on the lawn area. Bring your friends, your muscle pain cream, and snacks to share if you’d like, and plan to have fun!
Offices: Our Offices will open at 10:30am this Friday due to a Staff meeting.
Baptism: Next Sunday we’re having a Baptism/Swim Party at the City Pool. The pool opens at 5:45pm, but bring a picnic dinner and join us in the Park starting at 5:00pm. If you haven’t yet been baptized, consider doing so. Everyone is invited to join us, and there is no charge, but because we need a head-count for the pool you need to sign up at the Information Table today if you plan to attend.
VBS: Come take a life changing Journey with Jesus!! This year, Vacation Bible School is Aug 2nd – 6th from 4:00 – 7:00pm (dinner provided). We will explore the wonders of the rainforest and the love of the Savior. Registration runs through Aug 1st. Stop by the VBS table in the foyer this morning to register your children and/or sign up to volunteer to help. Questions? Please call Pam Logan at the Church.
Jail Ministry: We praise God for all the work He is currently doing in the hearts and minds of inmates at the El Dorado County jail. There are currently a few time slots open for ministering at the jail to the many inmates that have a hunger for the Lord and His Word.
U Turn: The U Turn Thrift Store in Camino is in need of donations, especially clothing and furniture. Donated items can be dropped off at the store on Pony Express Trail, Mon – Sat from 9:00am – 5:00pm. Thank you for your support!
Prayer: Do you have a prayer request? Please email your requests to info@calvaryplacerville.com. Your need will be placed on our Prayer Chain and will be prayed for ernestly by our faithful pray-ers.
