Thanks: Thank you to all who donated at the Hot Chocolate Fundraiser! We had hoped to donate one camel, through Gospel For Asia’s gift program, in honor of George Fast. Through your generosity enough was raised for 2 camels, 2 goats, 2 rabbits and 4 chickens! Praise the Lord!
Office: Our Offices will open at 10:30am this Tuesday due to a Staff Meeting.
Laser Tag: Jr/Sr High School students! This Friday we are getting together for a night of Laser Tag. This will be a great time of fun and fellowship. Invite your friends!! The cost is $26.00, which covers 2 games, 4 arcade tokens and dinner at Laser City in El Dorado Hills. We will meet here at the Church at 5:45 pm that evening. Please sign up today at the Information Table. If you have any questions, please call or email Pastor Edde.
Ladies: All ladies are invited to our Women’s Spring Luncheon this Saturday from 10:00am – 2:00pm. The cost is $5.00, payable at the door, but please sign up so we know how much food to prepare. Childcare will be provided for children up to age 10, but we ask moms to bring a sack lunch for each child. Nursing infants in arms are welcome! The deadline to sign up is this Wednesday. Flyers and a signup sheet are on the Information Table. It will be a great time of worship, prayer, good food and fellowship. Invite a friend!
Men: The Northern California Calvary Chapel Men’s Conference is this Saturday from 9:00am – 3:00pm at CC Modesto. The main speaker is Pastor David Burdick of CC San Francisco. The conference is free, but you can purchase lunch there for $8.00. Men are encouraged to bring their sons. If you would like to carpool, please sign up today at the Information Table.
Worship: Join us next Sunday evening at 7:00pm for a great time of Worship and Praise. Nursery and Toddler care is available. Bring the family and come on out!
Family Camp: Family Camp is only 6 weeks away! Join us at Lake Francis, June 1st – 3rd! This is a great time of fun and fellowship at a great location. Tent and RV sites are available, and we have some cabins left, mostly Rustics, which are reserved on first-signed up basis. Flyers and registration sheets are on the Information Table. It’s gonna be fun! Also, we are looking for a 14’ to 18’ covered cargo trailer we can borrow to transport the kitchen equipment. If you have one we can use, please call Kathy at the Church Office.
Couple’s Retreat: The Married Couple’s Retreat at Zephyr Point in Lake Tahoe is scheduled for July 27th – 29th. A sign up sheet is on the Information Table as well as registration forms. The cost is $280.00 per couple for two night accommodations and four meals. It’s a great time to get away and refresh your relationship!
Coffee: Help support missions in Costa Rica AND enjoy delicious coffee at the same time! Costa Rican coffee is available in the Foyer from our youth this morning for a donation of $15.00 a bag.
Found: Our Lost and Found is again overflowing with items waiting to be claimed by their owners. Please check the Kitchen today for any items that you may be missing.

Chocolate: In honor of George Fast’s commitment to Missions, please join us on the lawn area after both Services for a Hot Chocolate Stand fundraiser to help purchase a camel for a needy Asian family. The cost for a camel through Gospel for Asia’s gift program is $340.00. Camels can be used for plowing, transportation and hauling goods. The milk and wool can be sold for income as well. This can make a big difference to a poor family. So stop by and pick up a hot or iced chocolate for a donation of any size. What a great way to honor George’s life!
Financial Peace: Today is your last opportunity to sign up to attend Dave Ramsey’s “Financial Peace Class”. This class will help you handle your family finances and budget. It is a 13 week course, meeting upstairs in the High School Room, from 7:00-9:00pm each Thursday. No childcare is provided. Please pickup a flyer at the Information Table and sign up today if you want to attend.
Family Outdoor Fun Day: Come join us here Saturday, from 10:00am – 2:00pm for some fun in the sun and fellowship too, out on the grass. There will be volleyball, sack races, tug-o-war, balloon toss, and other “fun-tivities”, for all ages. And there will be food too! Hotdogs, popcorn, lemonade, and ice cream will be provided, so bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a good old fashion picnic with your brothers and sisters in Christ.
