Health: This morning the Agape Health Nurses will be offering free blood pressure screening after both services in the Main Office.

Israel: Join us this Wednesday evening, Sept 1st, as we welcome back missionary Cheryl Hancock. Come hear about the good things God is doing in Israel!
Office: Our Offices will open at 10:30am this Friday due to a Staff Meeting.
Prayer Rally: All are invited to The Call, at Sacramento Capitol Mall this Saturday at 9:00am. It will be a time to pray for our State and Nation, and ask God to bring change and repentance. Ladies: All ladies, ages 12 and up, please join us Friday, Sept 10th for a Ladies’ Fellowship Night from 6:30-9:00pm. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know one another, plus a chance to share the different giftings the Lord has blessed us with. Breakfast: All men are invited to our Fall Men’s Breakfast Saturday, Sept 11th at 8:00am. It’s a great time of good food and fellowship with brothers in Christ. Guest speaker will be Pastor Jeff Jones from CC Foresthill. The cost is $5.00. Please sign-up today at the Information Table if you plan to attend, so we know how much food to prepare.
Women: If you’d like to be a part of Women’s Ministries, or want more information about who we are and what we do, please join us Monday, Sept 13th at 6:30pm in the Church Office. We will be planning our October Breakfast, and would love to have your input. Come see how the Lord would like to use you for His glory!
BIG CHANGE: The HUGE Rummage Sale Fundraiser to benefit Youth Missions has been changed to Saturday, Sept 18th. If you would like to help out, or donate items, please contact Becky Clingan at ra93clingan@comcast.net or Pastor Edde at the Church or edde@calvaryplacerville.com. Donations will be collected Tuesday, Sept 14th through Friday, Sept 17th, during normal Office hours, so please don’t drop off any items before then. Thanks!
Women: Our Ladies Fall Bible Studies are scheduled to begin Thursday, Sept 23rd at 9:30am and 6:30pm. The book entitled “Sweeyer Than Chocolate” is a study of Psalm 119. The cost is $15.00. Please sign up at the Information Table. We look forward to seeing you!
Men: The Calvary Chapel Men’s Conference is Saturday, Sept 25th from 8:00am-3:00pm at CC San Jose. There is a great lineup of speakers including Don McClure, David Guzik and Louis Neely. The conference is free, but lunch can be purchased for $7.00. If you’d like to vanpool, please sign up at the Information Table.

BBQ: Join us at the Fundraiser Barbecue today at 12:30pm. Hamburgers and fixings will be served for a donation of any amount, and all profits will help provide scholarships for the upcoming Women’s Retreat. Come on out for a great time of fellowship, food and fun!

He is Risen!: Plan to join us next Sunday at 6:45am for an Easter Sunrise Service followed by refreshments. Since this is an outdoor activity, it is weather permitting. In the event of questionable weather, please check our website on Saturday the 3rd. Our regular Services will also take place at 8:30 and 10:30am. Come celebrate Jesus!
Women: There’s still time to sign up for the Women’s Retreat, April 9th – 11th at Old Oak Ranch! This is a great opportunity for fellowship with your sisters in Christ, and teaching geared toward women. Registration has been extended, but your forms need to be turned in today along with payment in full. For information on scholarships please see Holly Anderson. You don’t want to miss this!
Family Camp: Family Camp at Lake Francis will be June 4th – 6th. It’s a great location with lots of exciting activity opportunities. Pick up a flyer at the Information Table and read it to see your various options, then fill out your information on the sign up sheet. Statements will start being mailed in April. Please call the Office with questions and for important information regarding reserving additional days.
Servants Needed: Pre-School has a vacancy once a month during the Wednesday Night Service. It is a blessing to serve the Lord, and our children in this way. Please see Pastor Dan or Pam for more information.
Life: The California Human Rights Amendment will amend the California Constitution and define human rights as beginning at biological development! 1.2 million signatures are needed to place it on the November ballot. If you’d like to sign the petition, see Doug in the Kitchen after either Service.
Donation Tax Receipts: If you would like a receipt for your 2009 giving, please fill out a request form located on the Information Table and place it in the Tithe Box. Your receipt will be mailed to you. Thank you for your faithful giving!
