Bake Sale: Stop by the table in the Foyer this morning and pick up some delicious homemade goodies! All proceeds support Youth Missions (Mexico Mission included).
Prayer: Everyone is invited to join us this evening at 7:00pm for a time of prayer. The theme is: The Human Rights Amendment.
Office: Our Offices will open at 10:30am this Tuesday due to a Staff Meeting.
Fellowship Another new Home Fellowship group begins this Friday at 6:30pm in the home of Jack and Denise Hartman in Pollock Pines. The group will meet the third Friday of each month. For more information please call the Church Office.
Meeting: The Church Business Meeting is next Sunday at 12:30pm. All are welcome.
Financial Workshops: On Saturday, Mar 27th from 9:00 10:30am, Kevin Wright will be doing the second in a series of monthly workshops for any who would like help with such things as budgeting, credit card debt, savings, investments, etc. Kevin’s heart is to offer assistance, using practical skills with a Biblical perspective. The workshops are free, and there will be no solicitation. Please sign up at the Information Table if you’d like to attend.
BBQ: Bring the family to a Fundraiser Barbecue at the Church on Sunday, Mar 28th at 12:30pm. Hamburgers and fixings will be served for a donation of any size, and all profits will help provide scholarships for the upcoming Women’s Retreat. Please sign up at the Information Table so we know how many to shop for, and plan to join us rain or shine!
He is Risen!: April 4th is Easter Sunday. Plan to join us at 6:45am for a Sunrise Service followed by refreshments, weather permitting. Our regular Services will also take place at 8:30 and 10:30am. Come celebrate Jesus!
Outreach: The Food Closet will be giving out Easter Dinner Boxes to people in need. They provide a special meal, and tell the true meaning of Easter. We are hoping to provide dinner for 40 families, so it’s still not too late to sponsor one or more meals. The cost is $30.00 each. Please sign up today at the Information Table. Checks can be placed in the Tithe Box, noting “Easter Dinners”.
Women’s Retreat: Coming up April 9th – 11th is our Women’s Retreat at Old Oak Ranch. This will be a great weekend of spiritual renewal, fellowship and fun! Please pick up a registration form at the Information Table for complete details. Registration forms and payment in full are due by next Sunday the 21st. Plan to attend!
Family Camp: Family Camp at Lake Francis will be June 4th – 6th. It’s a great location with lots of exciting activity opportunities. In addition to tent and RV sites, there are a limited number of cabins available in the Campground and in Lake Francis Village, on a first sign up basis—so don’t delay! Pick up a flyer at the Information Table and read it to see your various options, then fill out your information on the sign up sheet. Statements will start being mailed in April. Please call the Office with questions and for important information regarding reserving additional days.
Servants Needed: Pre-School has a vacancy once a month during the Wednesday Night Service. It is a blessing! Please see Pastor Dan or Pam for more information.
Host a Student: Here is an opportunity to practice Christian hospitality—host a French high school student this July! If you are interested, a flyer is on the Bulletin Board with the details and a name and phone number of the person to contact.
Magazine: The new issue of Calvary Chapel Magazine is now available at the Information Table for $2.00 each. Pick one up today!
Life: The California Human Rights Amendment will amend the California Constitution and define human rights as beginning at biological development! 1.2 million signatures are needed to place it on the November ballot. If you’d like to sign the petition, see Doug in the Kitchen after either Service.

Donation Tax Receipts: If you would like a receipt for your 2009 giving, please fill out a request form located on the Information Table and place it in the Tithe Box. Your receipt will be mailed to you. Thank you for your faithful giving!

Retreat Meeting: There will be a Women’s Retreat Planning Meeting this Tuesday at 6:30pm in the High School Room. If you’d like to help with the planning/serving part of our spring Retreat, please come to the meeting. We’d love your input!
Board: The monthly Board Meeting is this Tuesday at 7:00pm.
Ladies: Women’s Ministry is having a Movie Night this Friday at 7:00pm. We will be showing “China Cry”, a true story about Nora Lam. This movie is a great testimony of one woman’s courage and faith in communist China. Please sign up today at the Information Table and bring a snack to share for a night out with the girls!
Conference: This Saturday Calvary Chapel Modesto will present The Case For Christianity Conference. Pick up a flyer at the Information Table and register on line at www.veritasseminary.com.
Spring Forward: Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday, March 14th at 2:00am, so remember to set your clocks forward one hour this Saturday night!
