Youth: All Jr/Sr High students and their parents are invited to attend a Summer Missions information meeting today after second Service in the High School Room.
Women: If you’d like to be a part of Women’s Ministries, or want more information about who we are and what we do, please join us tomorrow night at 6:30pm in the Church Office. Come see how the Lord would like to use you for His glory!
Gardening: The Firstfruits Garden will start this Wednesday, from 9:30 – 11:00am (weather permitting). Adults and children 6 and up are welcome to join us. Please wear gardening attire and gloves. For more information please call the Church Office.
Swap Out: This Wednesday, from 9:00am – 12:00pm, the Calvary Kid’s Clothes Closet needs volunteers to help with our seasonal inventory swap. Lunch will be provided. If you would like to help or want for information, please call the church Office.
Prayer: This Thursday is the National Day of Prayer. Plan to join us at the local gathering at Cold Springs Community Church, starting at 7:00am.
Ladies: All ladies, ages 12 and up, please join us this Week for Friday Night Fellowship from 6:30-9:00pm. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know one another, plus a chance to share the different giftings the Lord has blessed us with. Flyers and a sign up sheet are on the Information Table.
Banquet: All are welcome at the Folsom Prison Gospel Outreach Benefit Banquet on Saturday, May 8th at 6 pm. The banquet will be at the Firefighters Hall in Diamond Springs, and features tri-tip with all the fixins, silent auction, raffle, special speaker, etc. All proceeds will help bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to inmates at three local prisons this summer. Tickets are on sale in the Lobby today, $15.00 per person or $28.00 per couple. Thanks for your support!
Orientation: There will be an Orientation Meeting at the El Dorado County Jail on Monday, May 10th at 6:00pm. This is required of all new Jail Ministry Volunteers, and current volunteers are urged to attend as well.
Family Fun: Children’s Ministry invites you to join us for a fun day of bicycling and picnicking Saturday, May 15th from 10:00am – 2:00pm. Pick up a flyer and sign up at the Information Table. All are welcome to come on out!
Jail Ministry: For all who serve in the Jail Ministry, and those interested, join us at our Jail Ministry Meeting Tuesday, May 18th at 6:30pm in the High School Room. For more information call Pastor Dan.
Conference: On Saturday, May 29th, Gold Country Calvary Chapel in Grass Valley will host the “Signs of the Times” Conference. Speakers include Warren Smith and Johanna Michaelson. Lunch is provided for a $5.00 donation. Pick up a flyer at the Information Table and plan to attend this important event.
Family Camp: Family Camp at Lake Francis is only 5 weeks away—June 4th – 6th! Pick up a flyer at the Information Table and read it to see your various options, then fill out your information on the sign up sheet. A statement will be mailed. Please note; everyone staying at Family Camp must be signed up in advance. Single day use is allowed by purchasing a pass at Lake Francis, but meals are on your own.
Important!: For those not attending Family Camp, there will be ONE Service only on June 6th, at 9:30am.
Young Men: A Young Men’s Discipleship group is beginning Saturday, June 12th at 7:00am. All Jr/Sr High boys and their dads are invited to join us. Please sign up at the Information Table to attend. For more information, please email Edde at edde@calvaryplacerville.com.
VBS: Due to scheduling conflicts, Vacation Bible School has been moved to Aug 2nd – 6th, from 4:00-7:00pm. Please join us and follow Jesus on a life changing adventure!
Couples: Coming July 30st–Aug 1st is a married Couples Retreat at Zephyr Point Conference Grounds, on beautiful Lake Tahoe. This will be a weekend full of encouragement and exhortation on marriage, personal time together and corporate worship. Registration forms are now available at the Information Table.
Found: Our Lost and Found is once again overflowing with items waiting to be claimed by their owners. Please check the Kitchen today for any items you may be missing.

Health: This morning the Agape Health Nurses will be offering free blood pressure screening after both services in the Main Office.
Worship: Join us this evening at 7:00pm for a great time of Worship and Praise. Nursery and Toddler care is available. Bring the family and come on out!

Breakfast: All men are invited to Breakfast this Saturday at 8:00am. It’s a great time of good food and fellowship with brothers in Christ. The cost is $5.00. Please sign-up today at the Information Table so we know how much food to prepare. Also! Immediately following the breakfast, we are having a workday to clear and burn brush. Please consider staying; your help is greatly appreciated!
Women’s Retreat: There will be a Women’s Retreat Planning Meeting Tuesday, Feb 9th at 6:30pm upstairs in the High School Room. If you’d like to help with the planning/serving part of our spring Retreat, please come to the meeting. We’d love your input!
Got Babysitting?: It’s our annual Valentines Parent’s Night Out, Sunday Feb 14th from 5:30-8:00pm. We will watch your little guys while you go out! Interested? Please sign up at Information Table and pick up a flyer.
Mexico: The 2010 Mexico Dinner will be Saturday, Feb 20th at 6:00pm. This is a great way to support the youth mission to Mexico, while enjoying an evening of good food and fellowship! Tickets are on sale at the table in the Foyer, from any Mexico Youth Missionary, or from the Office. Hurry! They go like hot tamales!
Jr High: All students and parents: March 5th-7th is the 2010 Jr High Winter Camp at the Woodleaf Conference Center. This year’s theme is from Titus 2:14, Jesus gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do what is good. This will be a great opportunity for growth for everyone who attends, and it will also be a lot of fun! The cost is $115.00. The deadline to sign up is today. You may do so at the Information Table.
Conference: Flyers are on the Information Table for the High Sierra Pastors’ and Leaders’ Conference at Zephyr Point, Mar 22nd – 24th. Registration is done individually by mail. This conference fills quickly, so don’t delay.
Family Camp: Mark your calendars for our annual Family Camp at Lake Francis, June 4th – 6th. More information will be available in March, but be sure to save these dates now.
Israel: The dates for the Israel Trip have been changed, due to an insufficient number of participants. We will now be joining Calvary Chapel Pasadena, May 11th – 23rd, for an exciting tour of Israel. If interested, please pick up a flyer at the Information Table. Registration is done individually by mail.
Servants Needed: Pre-School has a vacancy once a month during the Wednesday Night Service. It is a blessing!! Lord tugging on your heart? Please see Pastor Dan or Pam for more information.
Life: The California Human Rights Amendment will amend the California Constitution and define human rights as beginning at biological development! 1.2 million signatures are needed to place it on the November ballot. If you’d like to sign the petition, see Doug at the table in the Foyer after either Service.

Scripture Readers: Each week our children bless us by reading God’s Word at the opening of service. If your young ones are interested, please sign up at the Information Table and we will contact you. (Children already on the list need not sign up).
Donation Tax Receipts: If you would like a receipt for your 2009 giving, please fill out a request form located on the Information Table and place it in the Tithe Box. Your receipt will be mailed to you. Thank you for your faithful giving!
