Workday: This Saturday, from 7:30am-2:30pm, there will be a mandatory workday here at the Church for all students going on the Mexico Mission Trip. If you have questions, please see Edde.
Worship: Join us next Sunday evening at 7:00pm for a great time of Worship and Praise. Nursery and Toddler care is available. Bring the family and come on out!
Jail: For all who serve in the Jail Ministry, and those interested, join us at our Jail Ministry Meeting Tuesday, Feb 2nd at 6:00pm in the High School Room.
Breakfast: All men are invited to our Winter Men’s Breakfast Saturday, Feb 6th at 8:00am. It’s a great time of good food and fellowship with brothers in Christ. The cost is $5.00. Please sign-up at the Information Table if you plan to attend, so we know how much food to prepare.
Got Babysitting?: It’s our annual Valentines Parent’s Night Out, Sunday Feb 14th from 5:30-8:00pm. We will watch your little guys while you go out!! Interested? Please sign up at Information Table and grab a flyer!!
Mexico: The 2010 Mexico Dinner will be on Saturday, Feb 20th at 6:00pm. This is a great way to support the youth mission to Mexico, while enjoying an evening of good food and fellowship! Tickets will go on sale next Sunday at the table in the Foyer, from any Mexico Youth Missionary, or from the Office. Hurry! They go like hot tamales!
Jr High: All students and parents: March 5th-7th is the 2010 Jr High Winter Camp at the Woodleaf Conference Center. This year’s theme is from Titus 2:14, Jesus gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do what is good. This will be a great opportunity for growth for everyone who attends, and it will also be a lot of fun! The cost is $115.00. Please sign up at the Information Table. The deadline to do so is next Sunday.
Conference: Flyers are on the Information Table for the High Sierra Pastors’ and Leaders’ Conference at Zephyr Point, Mar 22nd – 24th. Featured speakers are Rich Chaffin of CC Laguna Creek and Bob Caldwell of CC Boise. Registration is done individually by mail. This conference fills quickly, so don’t delay.
Servants Needed: Pre-School has a vacancy once a month during the Wednesday Night Service. It is a blessing!! Lord tugging on your heart? Please see Pastor Dan or Pam for more information.
Life: The California Human Rights Amendment will amend the California Constitution and define human rights as beginning at biological development! 1.2 million signatures are needed to place it on the November ballot. If you’d like to sign the petition, see Doug in the kitchen after either Service.
Scripture Readers: Each week our young people bless us by reading God’s Word at the opening of service. If your young ones are interested, please sign up at the Information Table and we will contact you. (Children already on the list need not sign up). Bless you as you serve the Lord!!
Men: Join us for the Men’s Bible Study at Denny’s in Cameron Park at 5:00am on Tuesdays. We are starting a new study in 2nd Timothy. This is a great time to meet with brothers in Christ before the work day starts.
Israel: The dates for the Israel Trip have been changed, due to an insufficient number of participants. We will now be joining Calvary Chapel Pasadena, May 11th – 23rd, for an exciting tour of Israel. If interested, please pick up a flyer at the Information Table. Registration is done individually by mail.
Donation Tax Receipts: If you would like a receipt for your 2009 giving, please fill out a request form located on the Information Table and place it in the Tithe Box. Your receipt will be mailed to you. Thank you for your faithful giving!

Women’s Ministry: If you’d like to be a part of Women’s Ministries, or just want more information, please join us at our meeting tomorrow night at 6:30pm in the Church Office. All ladies are invited. Come see how the Lord would like to use you for His glory!

Special: Next Sunday we are happy to welcome back Dr. Thomas Kindell of Reasons for Faith Ministries. He will be presenting “The Case For Creation” at 8:30/10:30am Services, speaking on “Design in Nature—The Birds”, and at 7:00pm, “Is There A Monkey in Your Family Tree?” Bring out the whole family, and invite a friend!
Soldiers: We’re pleased to partner with Faith Comes by Hearing in providing Military Biblesticks for soldiers stationed overseas. Each one contains the audio New Testament, and is small enough for them to listen to anywhere. Each Biblestick costs only $25.00 and comes with a card for soldiers to request an MP3 Bible for their family. If you’d like to donate one or more, please make your check out to Calvary Chapel, noting “Military Biblesticks”, and place it in the Tithe Box by next Sunday. What better way to commemorate Veteran’s Day than with the gift of God’s Word!
Firewood: On Saturday, Nov 14th, from 8:00am-12:00pm, we will be having a wood cutting day. Many hands make light work. Please sign up at the Information Table if you can help out. Also, if you are a single woman or an elderly person in need of firewood, please sign up, indicating how much wood you will need, and someone will contact you. If you would like more information, please call the Church Office.
Ladies: Please join us Saturday, Nov 14th from 9:00-11:00am for a special Worship and Prayer Meeting. This will be a sweet time of praise and intercessory prayer as we join with our sisters in Christ and bring needs before the Lord. For more information, please contact the Church Office.
New Study: The Men’s Monday Night Bible Study will be starting a new study in the book of John on November 16th at 7:00pm. All men are encouraged to come on out!
Need: Our Kid’s Clothes Closet is in need of winter clothing donations sizes 3T-7. We are also collecting new/used Christian children’s CDs for Christmas bags. Donations can be dropped off at the Church Tuesdays-Fridays during normal Office hours.
Christmas: In December the Food Closet will once again be giving away Christmas Stockings/Bags to families in need. They will include various goodies and a devotional CD and message. If you would like to sponsor one or more bags/stockings, at a cost of $12.00 each, please sign up at the Information Table.
Visual Team: Do you want to serve here in the Body, but prefer something “behind the scenes”? Consider being a Projectionist. We will provide the training, and you will be performing a much-needed service. If you would like to help please sign up at the Information Table and you will be contacted.
Sunday Mornings: If you have a heart to serve in the Children’s Ministry, we welcome you! There are openings in the Preschool and 6th grade classes. You’ll be given all the information and curriculum needed. Live scan clearances are required. Please see Pam Logan or Pastor Dan for more information.
Wednesday Evenings: Children’s Ministry is in need of helpers to oversee children during the midweek service from 7:00-8:30pm, typically every other week. Please prayerfully consider serving, and contact the Office for more information.
Israel: Pastor Nick will be leading a tour to the Holy Land, May 1st – 12th, 2010. Flyers, with details and registration form, are on the Information Table. Join us!
Winter Needs: We are collecting clean, used, adult-sized coats for the community homeless, as well as tarps (in good and clean condition), any size, color, or material. Please place your donations in the large box in the Foyer. For questions please contact the Church Office.
