Health: This morning the Agape Health Nurses will be offering free blood pressure screening after both services in the Main Office.
Worship: Join us this evening at 7:00pm for a great time of Worship and Praise. Nursery and Toddler care is available. Bring the family and come on out!
Women: If you’d like to be a part of Women’s Ministries, or want more information about who we are and what we do, please join us tomorrow night at 6:30pm in the Church Office. Come see how the Lord would like to use you for His glory!
Bowling: Children’s Ministry invites you to join us this Saturday at 12:30pm for Family Bowling Day at Knotty Pines Lanes. It’s fun for the whole family! Please pick up a flyer and sign up today at the Information Table.
Retreat Meeting: There will be a Women’s Retreat Planning Meeting Tuesday, Mar 9th at 6:30pm in the High School Room. If you’d like to help with the planning/serving part of our spring Retreat, please come to the meeting. We’d love your input!
New: A Home Fellowship is starting in Pollock Pines! Tony & Danyelle Jemmott’s group will meet the first Saturday of each month at 6:00pm starting Mar 6th, for a foundational and interactive Study. For more information please call the Church Office.
Ladies: Women’s Ministry is having a Movie Night Friday, Mar 12that 7:00pm. We will be showing “China Cry”, a true story about Nora Lam. This movie is a great testimony of one woman’s courage and faith in communist China. Please sign up at the Information Table and bring a snack to share for a night out with the girls!
Meeting: The annual All Church Business Meeting is Sunday, Mar 21st at 12:30pm. All are welcome.
Fellowship: Flash! Another new Home Fellowship group! This one will begin Friday, Mar 19th at 6:30pm in the home of Jack and Denise Hartman. The group will meet the third Friday of each month. For more information please call the Church Office.
Conference: Mar 13th, Calvary Chapel Modesto will present The Case For Christianity Conference. Pick up a flyer at the Information Table and register on line at www.veritasseminary.com.
Easter: The Food Closet will be giving out Easter Dinner Boxes to people in need. They provide a special meal, and tell the true meaning of Easter. The cost is $30.00 each. If you’d like to sponsor one or more, please sign up at the Information Table.
Women’s Retreat: Coming up April 9th – 11th is our Women’s Retreat at Old Oak Ranch. This will be a great weekend of spiritual renewal, fellowship and fun! Please pick up a registration form at the Information Table for complete details, and plan to attend.
Family Camp: Mark your calendars for Family Camp at Lake Francis, June 4th – 6th. Complete information will be available next week when sign ups begin. Some cabins are available in the Campground and in Lake Francis Village, and will be reserved on a first sign up basis – so don’t delay!
Servants Needed: Pre-School has a vacancy once a month during the Wednesday Night Service. It is a blessing!! Lord tugging on your heart? Please see Pastor Dan or Pam for more information.
Life: The California Human Rights Amendment will amend the California Constitution and define human rights as beginning at biological development! 1.2 million signatures are needed to place it on the November ballot. If you’d like to sign the petition, see Doug at the table in the Foyer after either Service.

Donation Tax Receipts: If you would like a receipt for your 2009 giving, please fill out a request form located on the Information Table and place it in the Tithe Box. Your receipt will be mailed to you. Thank you for your faithful giving!

Women’s Ministry: If you’d like to be a part of Women’s Ministries, or just want more information, please join us at our meeting tomorrow night at 6:30pm in the Church Office. All ladies are invited. Come see how the Lord would like to use you for His glory!
Board: The monthly Board Meeting is this Tuesday at 7:00pm.
Ladies: Women’s Ministry is having a Movie Night this Friday at 7:00pm. We will be showing “China Cry”. This gripping drama portrays the courage and faith of Nora Lam under Chinese communist rule. Come on out and bring a snack to share for a night with the girls. Please sign up at the Information Table, so we know how many to expect.
Cookies: As is our custom, we like to provide refreshments after our play performances. If you would like to donate cookies, please put them in the Church Kitchen Dec 15th-18th. Please wrap them in plastic and mark them “Christmas Play”. Thank you!
Christmas Play: Calvary Chapel presents “The Perfect Gift”, a musical drama celebrating the birth of Jesus. Performances are: Dec 16th and 19th at 7:00pm, and Dec 20th at 2:00pm. Admission is FREE! Pick up a flyer at the Information Table, invite your friends, family and neighbors and come join us as we celebrate Jesus!
Christmas Day Dinner: On Dec 25th from 3:00-5:00pm, here at the Church, a turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be offered to all in need in our community. It is a sit-down dinner, being prepared and served by volunteers in this Church Body, to show the love of Christ to as many as the Lord sends this way. All can be a part of this special day because contributions of turkey, stuffing, pies, funds, etc. are very much needed and will truly bless many. (See Bulletin insert) Additional servants for the day are also welcome and sign-up sheets for food and service are on the Information Table.
Christmas: In December the Food Closet will once again be giving away Christmas Stockings/Bags to families in need. They will include various goodies and a devotional CD and message. If you would like to sponsor one or more bags/stockings, at a cost of $12.00 each, please place your checks in the Tithe Box, noting “Christmas Stockings.” Thanks!
We Need You: Do you love to share God’s Word? Children’s Ministry has openings in the Preschool and 6th grade classes on Sunday mornings. You’ll be given all the information and curriculum needed and the required fingerprinting is paid for by the Church. We also need helpers to oversee children during the midweek service from 7:00-8:30pm, typically every other week. Please see Pam Logan or Pastor Dan for more information.
Israel: Pastor Nick will be leading a tour to the Holy Land, May 1st – 12th, 2010. Flyers, with details and registration form, are on the Information Table. It’s not too late to join us!
Winter Needs: We are collecting clean, used, adult-sized coats for the community homeless, as well as tarps (in good and clean condition), any size, color, or material. Please place your donations in the large box in the Foyer.
