Mexico: There is a Mexico Orientation Meeting today from 1:00-3:00pm in the Sanctuary. This is a mandatory meeting for all those interested in going on the spring Mexico Youth Mission Trip. For more information see Edde Anderson.

Men: The Men’s Bible Study is cancelled tomorrow night. Please join us next week.

Ladies: Women’s Ministry is having a Movie Night Friday, Dec 11th at 7:00pm. We will be showing “China Cry”, a true story about Nora Lam. Come on out and bring a snack to share for a night with the girls. Please sign up at the Information Table. This movie is a great testimony of one woman’s courage and faith while living in communist China.

Cookies: As is our custom, we like to provide refreshments after our play performances. If you would like to donate cookies, please put them in the Church Kitchen Dec 15th-18th. And make sure to wrap them and mark them “Christmas Play”. Thank you!

Drama: Calvary Chapel presents “The Perfect Gift”. Performances are: Dec 16th and 19th at 7:00pm, and Dec 20th at 2:00pm. Admission is FREE! Invite your friends, family and neighbors and come join us as we celebrate Jesus!

Christmas: In December the Food Closet will once again be giving away Christmas Stockings/Bags to families in need. They will include various goodies and a devotional CD and message. If you would like to sponsor one or more bags/stockings, at a cost of $12.00 each, please place your checks in the Tithe Box, noting “Christmas Stockings.” Thanks!

Visual Team: Do you want to serve here in the Body, but prefer something “behind the scenes”? Consider being a Projectionist. We will provide the training, and you will be performing a much-needed service. If you would like to help please sign up at the Information Table and you will be contacted.

We Need You: Do you love to share God’s Word? Children’s Ministry has openings in the Preschool and 6th grade classes on Sunday mornings. You’ll be given all the information and curriculum needed.  Live scan clearances are required. We also need helpers to oversee children during the midweek service from 7:00-8:30pm, typically every other week. Please see Pam Logan or Pastor Dan for more information.

Israel: Pastor Nick will be leading a tour to the Holy Land, May 1st – 12th, 2010. Flyers, with details and registration form, are on the Information Table. It’s not too late to join us!

Clothing: Our Kid’s Clothes Closet is in need of winter clothing donations sizes 3T-7. We are also collecting new/used Christian children’s CDs for Christmas bags. Donations can be dropped off at the Church Tuesdays-Fridays during normal Office hours.

Winter Needs: We are collecting clean, used, adult-sized coats for the community homeless, as well as tarps (in good and clean condition), any size, color, or material. Please place your donations in the large box in the Foyer.

Found: Our Lost and Found is once again overflowing with items waiting to be claimed by their owners. Please check the Kitchen today for any items you may be missing.

Magazine: The new issue of Calvary Chapel Magazine is now available at the Information Table for $2.00 each. Pick one up today!

Announcements for November 15, 2009

New Study: The Men’s Monday Night Bible Study is starting a new study in the book of John tomorrow night at 7:00pm. All men are encouraged to come on out!

Board: The monthly Board Meeting is this Tuesday at 7:00pm.

Mother’s Prayer Meeting: All women with mother’s hearts are invited to a Prayer Meeting this Wednesday, from 5:50 to 7:00pm upstairs in Room 6. We will intercede for our children, families, schools and more.

Offices: Our Offices will be closed this Friday from 12:30-3:00pm for a Staff meeting.

Special: Next Sunday at both Services we are pleased to welcome Rose Martinez of Christian Happy Home orphanage. Rose will be sharing with us the good things the Lord is doing there. Don’t miss this – you’ll be blessed!

Thanksgiving: Mark your calendars and plan to join us at our Thanksgiving Praise and Worship Night, Wednesday, Nov 25th at 7:00pm. This is a wonderful time to celebrate and thank God for Who He is and all He’s done! Childcare is available.
