Men: The Men’s Bible Study is cancelled tomorrow night due to the holiday.

Ladies: All ladies, ages 12 and up, please join us this Friday for a Ladies’ Fellowship Night from 6:30-9:00pm. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know one another, plus a chance to share the different giftings the Lord has blessed us with. Breakfast: All men are invited to our Fall Men’s Breakfast this Saturday at 8:00am. It’s a great time of good food and fellowship with brothers in Christ. Guest speaker will be Pastor Jeff Jones from CC Foresthill. The cost is $5.00. Please sign-up today at the Information Table if you plan to attend, so we know how much food to prepare.
Prayer: Everyone is invited to join us next Sunday evening at 7:00pm for a time of prayer. The theme is: our Nation and Leaders.

BIG CHANGE: The HUGE Rummage Sale Fundraiser to benefit Youth Missions has been changed to Saturday, Sept 18th. If you would like to help out, or donate items, please contact Becky Clingan at ra93clingan@comcast.net or Pastor Edde at the Church or edde@calvaryplacerville.com. Donations will be collected Tuesday, Sept 14th through Friday, Sept 17th, during normal Office hours, so please don’t drop off any items before then. Thanks!
Women: Our Ladies Fall Bible Studies are scheduled to begin Thursday, Sept 23rd at 9:30am and 6:30pm. The book entitled “Sweeter Than Chocolate,” is a study of Psalm 119. The cost is $15.00. Please sign up at the Information Table. We look forward to seeing you!
Fun: Bring the whole family to the Barbeque Potluck and Outdoor Movie Night Friday, Sept 24th, here at the church. We’ll provide the hamburgers and hotdogs, and each family brings a large side dish or dessert. Dinner starts at 7:00pm and the movie begins at dusk on the lawn. Men: The Calvary Chapel Men’s Conference is Saturday, Sept 25th from 8:00am-3:00pm at CC San Jose. There’s a great lineup of speakers including Don McClure, David Guzik and Louis Neely. The conference is free, but lunch can be purchased for $7.00. If you’d like to vanpool, please sign up at the Information Table.
Special: Sunday, Sept 26th at both Services we are pleased to welcome back Dr. Mace Baker of Science For Creation. He will be sharing informative information on Creation Science that will be sure to please all ages. Invite your friends and family!
Harvest: Mark your calendars for Sunday, Oct 31st for our annual Harvest Night at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. If you would like to volunteer to help, please sign up at the Information Table, and pick up some flyers to distribute to neighbors and friends. Students: We’re having a Jr/Sr High Backpacking Trip July 9th - 11th! It will be a fun time in the outdoors, a time of fellowship and time in the Word! The cost is $40.00. The deadline to sign up is today, and you can do so at the Information Table. If you have any questions, please see Pastor Edde TODAY.
Love Song: On Monday, July 12th at 7:00pm, Crossroads Church in Grass Valley will be hosting the “Love Song: Feel the Love Tour” concert. Special guest will be Pastor Chuck Smith. For more information go to www.crossroadslive.com.
Bakers Needed: Elizabeth Stein is organizing a Bake Sale to benefit the Crisis Pregnancy Center, here next Sunday. If you can participate by providing baked goods for this worthy cause, please contact the Office.

Campout!: The annual 5th/6th grade Campout at Sly Park is July 16th -18th. The sign up sheet for both students and overseers is on the Information Table. This is always a great time of growing, fun, fellowship, food, (S’mores), etc. The cost is $39.00 for the weekend. All students going into 5th through 7th grades are welcome to attend.

Baptism: Sunday, July 25th we’re having a Baptism/Swim Party at the City Pool. The pool opens at 5:45pm, but bring a picnic dinner and join us in the Park starting at 5:00pm. If you haven’t yet been baptized, consider doing so. Everyone is invited to join us, and there is no charge, but because we need a head-count for the pool you need to sign up at the Information Table if you plan to attend.
Couples: Coming July 30th– Aug 1st is a married Couples Retreat at Zephyr Point Conference Grounds, on beautiful Lake Tahoe. This will be a weekend full of encouragement and exhortation on marriage, personal time together and corporate worship. A sign up sheet is on the Information Table if you’re interested in going, as well as registration brochures with complete details and registration form. Registration and payment is due soon, so complete your form today! You will be blessed!
VBS: Come take a life changing Journey with Jesus!! This year, Vacation Bible School is Aug 2nd – 6th from 4:00 – 7:00pm (dinner provided). We will explore the wonders of the rainforest and the love of the Savior. Registration runs through Aug 1st. Stop by the VBS table in the foyer this morning to register your children and/or sign up to volunteer to help. Questions? Please call Pam Logan at the Church.
Folsom Prison Outreach: Anyone interested in actually going into Folsom prison to share the gospel with inmates, during the special one-day Bill Glass outreach event on Saturday, Aug 14th, please register at their website by July 7th. Registering insures that you receive necessary security clearances and a name badge in order to enter the facility with the group that day. The web address for registration is www.billglass.org.
Online Messages: We apologize for any inconvenience, but the online website recordings of Pastor Nick’s messages, for the months of May and June, are temporarily inaccessible. Restoration of the recordings will be available within a day or two. Thank you for your patience.
Jail Ministry: We praise God for all the work He is currently doing in the hearts and minds of inmates at the El Dorado County jail. There are currently a few time slots open for ministering at the jail to the many inmates that have a hunger for the Lord and His Word.
U Turn: The U Turn Thrift Store in Camino is in need of donations, especially clothing and furniture. Donated items can be dropped off at the store on Pony Express Trail, Mon – Sat from 9:00am – 5:00pm. Thank you for your support!
