Fund Raiser:  Stop by the table in the Foyer this morning and buy a handmade jar of cookie, soup or corn bread mix. Cost of $5.00 each, and all proceeds will go to support Youth Missions, including the Mexico Mission. They make great gifts! Thanks!

Meeting: There is a planning meeting today right after 2nd Service, upstairs in the High School Room, for all Christmas Day Dinner volunteers. Please plan to attend.

Play: The last performance of “The Perfect Gift”, a musical drama celebrating the birth of Jesus, is today at 2:00pm. Admission is FREE! Invite your friends, family and neighbors and come join us as we celebrate Jesus!

Announcements: Because of our holiday schedule, all items for the next two Bulletins must be submitted to Lynn by this Wednesday morning.  Thanks for your cooperation.

Service: The Wednesday Services are cancelled this week and next week, Dec 30th.

Christmas Eve: Plan to bring your family and join us this Thursday at 6:00pm, for Christmas Eve Communion. This is a great way to celebrate the birth of our Savior and prepare our hearts for Christmas Day. Childcare is provided for ages 4 and under. Come worship with us!

Christmas Day Dinner: On Dec 25th from 3:00-5:00pm, here at the Church, a turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be offered to all in need in our community. It is a sit-down dinner, being prepared and served by volunteers in this Church Body, to show the love of Christ to as many as the Lord sends this way. Additional servants for the day are also welcome. If you plan to help in anyway, please sign-up at the Information Table so we can plan accordingly. Please note, if you are providing a turkey and/or stuffing they must be cooked and delivered hot on Christmas Day. Thank you!

Offices: Our Offices will close at noon this Thursday, and will be closed Dec 25th – Jan 1st for the holidays.

Prayer: Join us on Thurs, Dec 31st, at 6:00pm for a New Year’s Eve Prayer Service.

Stockings: Thank you to all who signed up to sponsor Christmas Stockings for the Food Closet to give away. If you haven’t yet paid, please place your checks in the Tithe Box, noting “Christmas Stockings.” Thanks!

New Year’s Eve: All Jr/Sr High students are invited to our New Year’s Eve Overnight Lock-In Thursday, Dec 31st starting at 9:00pm. There will be lots of food, exciting games and more, and all for only $10.00 per person! Please sign up at the Information Table. Questions? Please see Edde.

Women: Our Ladies’ Winter/Spring Bible Study begins Thursday, Jan 14th, with a  New Inductive Study on the book of Colossians. We will have classes at 9:30am (with childcare) and 6:30pm. Please sign up at the Information Table. This is a great way to meet people and fellowship around God’s Word.  Please come and join us!

Israel: Pastor Nick will be leading a tour to the Holy Land, May 1st – 12th, 2010. Flyers, with details and registration form, are on the Information Table. It’s not too late to join us!

Opening: Liz Neumann has opened a Thrift and Gift Store, featuring new and used items, and proceeds will benefit missions in Thailand. If you have items you’d like to donate, would like to volunteer or have questions, please call 344-7200.

Announcements for November 15, 2009

New Study: The Men’s Monday Night Bible Study is starting a new study in the book of John tomorrow night at 7:00pm. All men are encouraged to come on out!

Board: The monthly Board Meeting is this Tuesday at 7:00pm.

Mother’s Prayer Meeting: All women with mother’s hearts are invited to a Prayer Meeting this Wednesday, from 5:50 to 7:00pm upstairs in Room 6. We will intercede for our children, families, schools and more.

Offices: Our Offices will be closed this Friday from 12:30-3:00pm for a Staff meeting.

Special: Next Sunday at both Services we are pleased to welcome Rose Martinez of Christian Happy Home orphanage. Rose will be sharing with us the good things the Lord is doing there. Don’t miss this – you’ll be blessed!

Thanksgiving: Mark your calendars and plan to join us at our Thanksgiving Praise and Worship Night, Wednesday, Nov 25th at 7:00pm. This is a wonderful time to celebrate and thank God for Who He is and all He’s done! Childcare is available.

Mexico: There will be a Mexico Orientation Meeting Sunday, Nov 29th from 1:00-3:00pm in the Sanctuary. This is a mandatory meeting for all those interested in going on the spring Mexico Mission Trip. For more information see Edde Anderson.

There’s Still Room: This year’s Christmas Program still has openings for choir singers. Please consider sharing your time and talents in this way. For more information, stop by the table in the Foyer or contact Pam Logan or Bev Carter. Come celebrate Jesus!

Christmas: In December the Food Closet will once again be giving away Christmas Stockings/Bags to families in need. They will include various goodies and a devotional CD and message. If you would like to sponsor one or more bags/stockings, at a cost of $12.00 each, please sign up at the Information Table.

Visual Team: Do you want to serve here in the Body, but prefer something “behind the scenes”? Consider being a Projectionist. We will provide the training, and you will be performing a much-needed service. If you would like to help please sign up at the Information Table and you will be contacted.

Sunday Mornings: If you have a heart to serve in the Children’s Ministry, we welcome you! There are openings in the Preschool and 6th grade classes. You’ll be given all the information and curriculum needed. Live scan clearances are required. Please see Pam Logan or Pastor Dan for more information.

Wednesday Evenings: Children’s Ministry is in need of helpers to oversee children during the midweek service from 7:00-8:30pm, typically every other week. Please prayerfully consider serving, and contact the Office for more information.

Firewood: If you are a single woman or an elderly person in need of firewood, please sign up, indicating how much wood you will need, and someone will contact you. If you would like more information, please call the Church Office.

Need: Our Kid’s Clothes Closet is in need of winter clothing donations sizes 3T-7. We are also collecting new/used Christian children’s CDs for Christmas bags. Donations can be dropped off at the Church Tuesdays-Fridays during normal Office hours.

Winter Needs: We are collecting clean, used, adult-sized coats for the community homeless, as well as tarps (in good and clean condition), any size, color, or material. Please place your donations in the large box in the Foyer.
