Left Behind: Did your child forget to bring home their VBS crafts items? This morning is the last chance to pick them up. Please check the table in the Foyer today.
Jail Ministry: There will be an Orientation Meeting at the El Dorado County Jail tomorrow evening at 6:00pm. This is a mandatory meeting for all interested in becoming a part of the Jail Ministry. Those interested, as well as current volunteers, are urged to attend.
Ladies: Our Thursday morning Bible Study is meeting at various homes during the month of August. For locations and information, please contact Holly at handerson_pcs@yahoo.com.
Volleyball: Please join us this Thursday, at 6:00pm for volleyball on the grass. This is a fun time of recreation and fellowship and has been so well attended that we are now filling up two courts! The more the merrier and kids from 7 to 77 are encouraged to join us! Water and cups are provided and whatever snacks you bring are welcome.
Financial Workshop: This Saturday, from 9:00 – 10:30am, Kevin Wright will be doing the last in a series of monthly workshops for any who are interested. Kevin’s heart is to offer assistance, using practical skills with a Biblical perspective. The workshop is free, and there will be no solicitation. Please sign up today at the Information Table if you’d like to attend.
Worship: Join us next Sunday evening at 7:00pm for a great time of Worship and Praise. Nursery and Toddler care is available. Bring the family and come on out!
Israel: Mark your calendars for Wednesday evening, Sept 1st, when missionary Cheryl Hancock will be speaking. Come hear about the good things God is doing in Israel!
BIG: Saturday, Sept 4th, starting at 7:00am we will have a HUGE Rummage Sale Fundraiser to benefit Youth Missions. If you would like to help out, please sign up at the Information Table. To donate items, please contact Becky Clingan at ra93clingan@comcast.net or Pastor Edde at the Church or edde@calvaryplacerville. com. Donations will be collected Tuesday, Aug 31st through Friday, Sept 3rd, during normal Office hours, so please don’t drop off any items before then. Thanks!
Breakfast: All men are invited to our Fall Men’s Breakfast Saturday, Sept 11th at 8:00am. It’s a great time of good food and fellowship with brothers in Christ. Guest speaker will be Pastor Jeff Jones from CC Foresthill. The cost is $5.00. Please sign-up at the Information Table if you plan to attend, so we know how much food to prepare.
Fellowship Dinners: Would you like to get acquainted with folks you don’t know? We are starting something new! Twice a month beginning Saturday, Sept 18th we are going to have dinners hosted in various homes of our congregants. The cost to attend is $6.00 per person. If you would like to attend a dinner, offer your home, or be a cook or helper, please sign up in the Foyer this morning. John Seman will be happy to answer any questions you may have. This is a great way to break bread with our brothers and sisters in Christ!
Magazine: The new issue of Calvary Chapel Magazine is now available at the Information Table for $2.00 each. Pick one up today!
Found: Our Lost and Found is once again overflowing with items waiting to be claimed by their owners. Please check the Kitchen today for items you may be missing. Any items remaining after next Sunday will be given away.

Men: The Men’s Bible Study is cancelled tomorrow night due to VBS.
YAF: Due to Vacation Bible School, tomorrow night’s Young Adult Fellowship will be meeting at the Ellis’ home instead of at the Church. For directions, please call the church Office.
VBS: Vacation Bible School begins tomorrow, from 4:00 – 7:00pm, and runs through Friday the 6th. We are going to take an exciting journey with Jesus! Stop by the VBS table in the foyer this morning to register your children. We also have some areas of service left to fill, and there is a donation list for food items if you can help out in that way. Invite your neighbors and friends!
Guys: Every Tuesday morning we meet at 5:00am at Denny’s in Cameron Park for Bible study. We’ve just begun the book of Isaiah. All men are welcome to join us!
Mother’s Prayer Meeting: All women with mother’s hearts are invited to a Prayer Meeting this Wednesday, from 5:50 to 7:00pm in the Cry Room. We will intercede for our children, families, schools and more.
Services: Mid-week Services are cancelled, this week only, due to VBS.
Fun: Volleyball anyone? All are welcome to join us for fun and fellowship every Thursday night at 6:00pm on the lawn area. Bring your friends, your ace bandages and snacks to share if you’d like, and plan to have fun!
Young Adults: The Young Adult Fellowship will be having a BBQ/Baptism at Sly Park this Saturday at 1:00pm. For details and the specific location, please call the Church Office.
Prayer: Everyone is invited to join us next Sunday evening at 7:00pm for a time of prayer. The theme is: our Nation and Leaders.
