Ladies: If you’d like to be a part of Women’s Ministries, or want more information about who we are and what we do, please join us tomorrow evening at 6:30pm in the Church Office. Come see how the Lord would like to use you for His glory!
Board: The monthly Board Meeting is this Tuesday at 7:00pm.
BIG: The Rummage Sale Fundraiser to benefit Youth Missions is this Saturday at 7:00am. If you would like to help out, or donate items, please contact Becky Clingan at ra93clingan@comcast.net or see Pastor Edde. You can bring your donations this week, Tuesday through Friday, during normal Office hours.
Women: Our Ladies Fall Bible Studies are scheduled to begin Thursday, Sept 23rd at 9:30am and 6:30pm. The book entitled “Sweeter Than Chocolate,” is a study of Psalm 119. The cost is $15.00. You can view the book and sign up today at the table in the Foyer. We look forward to seeing you!
Fun: Bring the whole family to the Barbeque Potluck and Outdoor Movie Night Friday, Sept 24th, here at the church. We’ll provide the hamburgers and hotdogs, and each family brings a large side dish or dessert. Dinner starts at 7:00pm and the movie begins at dusk on the lawn. Sign up at the Information Table today!
Men: The Calvary Chapel Men’s Conference is Saturday, Sept 25th from 8:00am-3:00pm at CC San Jose. There’s a great lineup of speakers including Don McClure, David Guzik and Louis Neely. The conference is free, but lunch can be purchased for $7.00. If you’d like to vanpool, please sign up at the Information Table.
Archery: Everyone is welcome at our first Archery event, Saturday, Sept 25th from 10:00am – 2:00pm. Pack a picnic lunch and bring the family to the Archery Club in El Dorado Hills. The cost is $2.00 to participate, but watching is free. Bring your equipment if you have it, but some will be available. There will also be an instructor to help beginners and experts. Please sign up at the Information Table and pick up a map too. It’ll be fun!
Special: Sunday, Sept 26th at both Services we are pleased to welcome back Dr. Mace Baker of Science For Creation. He will be sharing enlightening information on Creation Science that will be sure to interest all. Invite your friends and family!
Retreat: Coming Oct 8th – 10th is the Men’s Retreat at Woodleaf. The theme is “The Journey of a Lifetime” and the cost is $100.00, plus an additional $10.00 if you’d like a T-shirt. Please pick up a Registration Form at the information Table, complete it and place it in the Tithe Box along with your check made out to Calvary Chapel. Deadline to register and pay is Wednesday, Sept 22nd.
Conference: The Calvary Chapel Women’s Conference is Saturday, Oct 16th from 9:00am – 4:00pm at CC Modesto. The theme is “A Word Fitly Spoken” from Proverbs 25:11. Guest speakers are Gisela Yohannan, Sandy MacIntosh and Jean McClure. The conference is free, and lunch can be ordered on line for $8.00. If you would like to carpool to the event, please sign up at the Information Table.
Harvest: Mark your calendars for Sunday, Oct 31st for our annual Harvest Night at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. If you would like to volunteer to help, please sign up at the Information Table, and pick up some flyers to distribute to neighbors and friends. Health: This morning the Agape Health Nurses will be offering free blood pressure screening after both services in the Main Office.
Worship: Join us this evening at 7:00pm for a great time of Worship and Praise. Nursery and Toddler care is available. Bring the family and come on out!
Israel: Join us this Wednesday evening, Sept 1st, as we welcome back missionary Cheryl Hancock. Come hear about the good things God is doing in Israel!
Office: Our Offices will open at 10:30am this Friday due to a Staff Meeting.
Prayer Rally: All are invited to The Call, at Sacramento Capitol Mall this Saturday at 9:00am. It will be a time to pray for our State and Nation, and ask God to bring change and repentance. Ladies: All ladies, ages 12 and up, please join us Friday, Sept 10th for a Ladies’ Fellowship Night from 6:30-9:00pm.
