Health: This morning the Agape Health Nurses will be offering free blood pressure screening after both services in the Main Office.
Worship: Join us this evening at 7:00pm for a great time of Worship and Praise. Nursery and Toddler care is available. Bring the family and come on out!
Special: Next Sunday we are pleased to welcome British dramatist, David Payne. He will present “Paul, Prisoner of Passion” at both morning Services, and at 7:00pm “An Evening With C.S. Lewis.” Invite a friend!
Women: We’re having a Women’s “Mini” Retreat Friday Apr 8th – Sunday Apr 10th and the theme is “Praising the Lord For His Love and Faithfulness”. It will again be at Donna Cribb’s spacious home, and the cost is only $10.00 per person. You can come for part or stay for it all. Registration brochures are on the Information Table. Space is limited, so pick one up today and join us for a great time of fellowship and renewal. Registration is due today.
Resurrection Walk: Children’s Ministry invites you to a potluck luncheon and “Resurrection Walk” on Saturday, Apr 16th from 11:30am – 3:00pm here at the church. We will lunch together and “walk” the Calvary Road. Fliers and a sign up sheet are on the Information Table. Bring the whole family and come rejoice with us!
Family Camp: Family Camp is at Lake Francis, June 3rd – 5th! This is a great time of fun and fellowship at a great location. Tent and RV sites are available as well as some rustic cabins, which are reserved on first-signed up basis. Flyers and registration sheets are on the Information Table. It’s gonna be fun!
Coming Soon: Mark your calendars for the Couple’s Retreat at Zephyr Point in Lake Tahoe, July 29th – 31st. More details will follow in April.
Adoption: America World Adoption is hosting a free seminar, entitled, “Adoption by Design,” which addresses what God’s Word says about adoption. It is happening on Friday, Apr 8th at 6:30pm in El Dorado hills. For more information please see the flyer on the Bulletin Board, or call 1-800-429-3369.
Save The Date: Mark your calendars for a Men’s Conference at Warehouse Christian Ministries, Saturday, May 14th from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Guest speaker is Sandy Adams. The conference is free, and a BBQ lunch will be available for $8.00. If you would like to carpool to the event, please sign up at the Information Table. For more details please contact the Office.
Meals Ministry: God’s instructs us in His Word to reach out to those in need so that others may know CHRIST through the love we show. Do you feel a pull at your heart when someone suffers and want to serve them in a tangible way? If so, the Meals Ministry might be for you. We are in need of additional volunteers to provide meals, on an occasional basis, to those facing sudden hardships. As the Spirit leads, please contact the Office for more information or to be added to the team. Recipes and meal suggestions can be provided upon request. God bless you as you serve our Lord with the gifts He has given you!
Volunteers: The Thrift N Gift needs volunteers to work at their store on Missouri Flat Road. The store supports four churches in Southern Thailand, and the gospel is being preached to both Thai and Burmese people. Last year Thrift N Gift was able to send $12,203.00 to Thailand ministries. If you can volunteer at their store, days and hours are negotiable, and there’s great fellowship too! Please contact Liz Neumann, or Joe or Joann Cochran at 344-7200.
Donation Tax Receipts: If you would like a receipt for your 2010 giving, please fill out a request form located on the Information Table and place it in the Tithe Box. Your receipt will be mailed to you.

Attention Jr/Sr High: There is a mandatory orientation meeting today, after second Service for all Jr/Sr High students interested in going on the Spring Break Outreach, Apr 17th – 22nd. Calicinto Ranch in San Jicinto has offered to let us come down and help with their ministry outreach to children whose parents are incarcerated. We will primarily be working at the ranch on this trip, but this appears to be an awesome opportunity for longer-term ministry.
Men: Tomorrow night at 7:00pm the Men’s Monday Night Bible Study welcomes guest speaker Igor Prokopiev. Come on out and invite a friend.
Webcast: This Saturday we will be hosting the “Rediscover God in America” webcast from 9:00am – 3:00pm, with a lunch break on your own. Speakers include Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich and David Barton. This event is free. Come and be reminded of this country’s Biblical roots, and catch the vision to bring God back to the center of American life. Fliers are on the Information Table. Invite your friends!
