Bake Sale: Stop by the table in the Foyer this morning and pick up some delicious homemade goodies for Dad! All proceeds support Youth Missions.
Water Skiing: All Jr/Sr High students are invited to a Water Ski/BBQ Day at Folsom Lake, tomorrow, meeting at the Church at 8:00am. The cost is $7.00. It will be great fun! Please sign up today at the Information Table if you plan to attend. For all the details, please see Pastor Edde.
Epicenter: This Friday and Saturday, June 25th and 26th, we are pleased to host a live simulcast of the Epicenter Conference 2010. The speakers include Joel Rosenberg, Kay Arthur, Greg Laurie and more, who come together for the purpose of building a global movement of Christians to bless Israel, come what may. Friday night is from 6:45 – 9:00pm, and Saturday’s sessions begin at 8:30am. There is no charge and all are invited. Bring your friends too!
Worship: Join us next Sunday evening at 7:00pm for a great time of Worship and Praise. Nursery and Toddler care is available. Come on out!
Fun: Bring the whole family to the Barbeque Potluck and Outdoor Movie Night Friday, July 2nd, here at the church. We’ll provide the hamburgers and hotdogs, and each family brings a large side dish or dessert. Dinner starts at 7:00pm and the movie begins at dusk on the lawn. Sign up at the Information Table today!
Bakers Needed: Elizabeth Stein is organizing a Bake Sale to benefit the Crisis Pregnancy Center here on Sunday, July 11th. If you can participate by providing baked goods for this worthy cause, please contact the Office.
Campout!: The annual 5th/6th grade Campout at Sly Park is July 16th -18th. The sign up sheet for both students and overseers is now on the Information Table. This is always a great time of growing, fun, fellowship, food, (S’mores), etc. The cost is $39.00 for the weekend. All students going into 5th through 7th grades are welcome to attend.
Baptism: Sunday, July 25th we’re having a Baptism/Swim Party at the City Pool. The pool opens at 5:45pm, but bring a picnic dinner and join us in the Park starting at 5:00pm. If you haven’t yet been baptized, consider doing so. Everyone is invited to join us, and there is no charge, but because we need a head-count for the pool you need to sign up at the Information Table if you plan to attend.
Couples: Coming July 30th–Aug 1st is a married Couples Retreat at Zephyr Point Conference Grounds, on beautiful Lake Tahoe. This will be a weekend full of encouragement and exhortation on marriage, personal time together and corporate worship. A sign up sheet is on the Information Table if you’re interested in going, as well as registration brochures with complete details and registration form. You will be blessed!
Jail Ministry: We praise God for all the work He is currently doing in the hearts and minds of inmates at the El Dorado County jail and for letting us participate in His plans. There currently are a few time slots open for ministering at the county jail to the many inmates that have a hunger and thirst for the Lord and His Word. Please contact Ray Kaufman at 391-1029 as the Lord leads you.
Vacation Bible School Help Days: Got some time this summer? We have help days scheduled throughout the months of June and July to prepare for VBS. See the Information Table for a flyer with dates and a sign-up sheet. Questions? Please call Pam at the Church. Come join us!
Found: Have you misplaced your Bible and can’t find it? Please check the small table in the Foyer. We have an abundance of Bibles eagerly awaiting their owners. And if you left something behind at Family Camp, check the Lost and Found Box in the Kitchen.

Health: This morning the Agape Health Nurses will be offering free blood pressure screening after both services in the Main Office.
Children’s’ Ministry: All CM teachers, aides, preschool, and nursery servants, are requested to attend a CM servants training and fellowship workshop today at 12:15pm. Very important information will be shared for all grade levels, and lunch will first be provided in the High School room. All involved with CM please plan to attend.
Worship: Please join us this evening at 7:00pm for a great time of praise and worship! Nursery and toddler care will be provided.
Men: This Saturday, from 9:00am – 3:30pm, is the Northern California Calvary Chapel Men’s Conference at CC Modesto. Speakers include Gayle Erwin and Mike Macintosh. We plan to take down the bus, so please sign up at the Information Table so we know how many to expect. This will be a great Conference you won’t want to miss!
Women: If you’d like to be a part of Women’s Ministries, or want more information about who we are and what we do, please join us Monday, May 3rd at 6:30pm in the Church Office. Come see how the Lord would like to use you for His glory!
Gardening: The Firstfruits Garden will be starting up on Wednesday, May 5th, from 9:30 – 11:00am (weather permitting). Adults and children 6 and up are welcome to join us. Please wear gardening attire and gloves. For more information please call the Church Office.
Prayer: Thursday, May 6th, is the National Day of Prayer. Plan to join us at the local gathering at Cold Springs Community Church, starting at 7:00am.
Banquet: All are welcome at the Folsom Prison Gospel Outreach Benefit Banquet on Saturday, May 8th at 6 pm. The banquet will be at the Firefighters Hall in Diamond Springs, and features tri-tip with all the fixins, silent auction, raffle, special speaker, etc. All proceeds will help bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to inmates at three local prisons this summer. Tickets are on sale at the table in the Lobby today, $15.00 per person or $28.00 per couple. Thanks for your support!
Family Camp: Family Camp at Lake Francis is only 6 weeks away—June 4th – 6th! Pick up a flyer at the Information Table and read it to see your various options, then fill out your information on the sign up sheet. Statements are in the process of being mailed out. Please call the Office with questions and for important information regarding reserving additional days.
