Health: This morning the Agape Health Nurses will be offering free blood pressure screening after both services in the Main Office.
Worship: Join us this evening at 7:00pm for a great time of Worship and Praise. Nursery and Toddler care is available. Bring the family and come on out!
Breakfast: All men are invited to our Men’s Breakfast this Saturday at 8:00am. The guest speaker is Pastor Jeff Jones of CC Forest Hill. It’s a great time of good food and fellowship with brothers in Christ. The cost is $6.00. Please sign up today at the Information Table if you plan to attend, so we know how much food to prepare.
Date Night: Our annual Valentines Parent’s Night Out is Tuesday, Feb 14th from 5:30-8:30pm. Bring your kiddos and we will watch them, feed them and have fun with them while you go out! Interested? Jr High Students: The 2012 Jr High School Winter Camp is Mar 2nd – 4th. The theme is taken from Colossians 3:1-3 “And your life is hidden with Christ in God.” The guest speaker is Jason Duff and special musical guest will be Esterlyn. The cost for the weekend is $130.00. CM Dinner: All Children’s Ministry servants are invited to an Appreciation Dinner Friday, Mar 16th at 6:00pm. We will worship, eat and pray together! Flyers and a sign up sheet are on the Information Table. Childcare is provided. Let us bless you!
Conference: Flyers are on the Information Table for the High Sierra Pastors’ and Leaders’ Conference at Zephyr Point, Mar 26th – 28th. Featured speakers are Rich Chaffin of CC Laguna Creek, Jack Abeelen of Morningstar Christian Chapel and David Rosales of CC Chino Valley. Registration is done individually by mail. This conference can fill quickly, so don’t delay.
Cleaning Ministry: Our Cleaning Ministry is in need of volunteers to help clean the Church on Tuesdays or Fridays, once or twice a month. If you are interested in joining this important behind-the-scenes ministry, a sign up sheet is on the Information Table.
Children Are A Blessing: Our children are so precious to us and to the Lord and worthy of our careful Bible instruction. Helpers are needed in our Children’s Ministry particularly during Wednesday Night Services for Bible instruction, games, and other activities. If you can help please call the Church Office at 626-8484 or see Pastor Dan or Pam. Security clearances will be required.
Petitions: We are collecting signatures for a ballot initiative for a Constitutional Definition of a Person, which defines “person” as including all living human beings from the beginning of their biological development as human organisms. If you would like to read/sign the petition, you may do so in the kitchen this morning.
Coffee: You can help support missions in Costa Rica AND enjoy delicious coffee at the same time! Costa Rican coffee is available in the Foyer from our youth this morning for a donation of $15.00 a bag. A portion of that may be tax deductable; please call the Office for more information.
Found: Our Lost and Found is once again overflowing with items waiting to be claimed by their owners. Please check the Kitchen today for any items you may be missing. All unclaimed items will be donated this week.
Donation Tax Receipts: If you would like a receipt for your 2011 giving, please fill out a request form located on the Information Table and place it in the Tithe Box. Your receipt will be mailed to you.

Harvest Volunteers: There will be a meeting for all Harvest volunteers today after second Service in Room 4. Please plan to attend so we can give you your instructions, booth assignments, etc.

YAF: The Young Adult Fellowship is cancelled tomorrow night due to Halloween.
Outreach: Harvest Night is tomorrow night at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, from 5:30 – 8:30pm! We still have opportunities for service available, and if you are interested in helping in any way, please attend the meeting today after second Service. Life: The Sacramento 40 Days For Life is happening through next Sunday, at the abortion clinic on Wright Street in Sacramento. This is a peaceful, prayerful vigil, to help women choose LIFE. If you’d like to participate, please sign up at the Information Table and you will be contacted.
Logos: On Saturday, Nov 12th, from 8:00 – 9:30am, we will be hosting a free Logos 4 Bible Software presentation and familiarization workshop. All interested in learning more about this most helpful software program are invited to attend.
Ladies: “Good News of Great Joy! “ is the theme of our Women’s Christmas Dinner on Friday, Dec 2nd, from 6:00 – 9:00pm. This is a great opportunity to invite your friends and family to hear God’s Christmas story, and to prepare our own hearts to celebrate Jesus! Dinner tickets will go on sale Sunday, Nov 13th for just $5.00 each, and proceeds will benefit our Food Closet. Please plan now to attend this special evening.
Needs: Our Food Closet is seeking donations of the following non-perishable items: canned fruit, corn and green beans, spaghetti sauce, top ramen, cereal, crackers, and cake/muffin mixes. These can be left next to the Food Closet door in the side hallway. Thanks to all who have helped!
Rides Ministry: We have a growing need in our community for transportation to and from our worship Services, especially Sunday mornings. Unfortunately some who have a heart to worship and grow in God’s Word must miss out on Services and fellowship solely because they lack transportation. We would like to begin a “Rides Ministry” here at Calvary that utilizes volunteers when someone needs a ride to Church. Volunteers are needed from all areas of the County. CM Check-In: Our Children’s Ministry has a new safety procedure in the Nursery and Preschool. Each child receives a wrist band with a unique number that corresponds with the same number on a ticket stub given to each parent when they drop their child off during Service. Parents, we ask for your cooperation in remembering to drop off the ticket stub when retrieving your child from one of these classrooms. Thank you!

Help: The Thrift & Gift on Missouri Flat Road is seeking donations of gently-used re-sellable furniture and small kitchen appliances. Donations can be dropped off at the store during business hours.Proceeds benefit missions in Thailand and Burma.
