Announcements for July 24, 2011

Baptism: Today we’re having a Baptism/Swim Party at the City Pool. The pool opens at 5:45pm, but bring a picnic dinner and join us in the Park starting at 5:00pm.  If you haven’t yet been baptized, consider doing so. All are welcome, but there is a maximum of 150 allowed inside the pool area.

Men: The Men’s Monday Night Bible Study has started a new study in the book of Genesis. All that is needed is a Bible and a willing heart. We meet at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary. Please join us—all are welcome!

Worship: Join us next Sunday evening, July 31^st at 7:00pm for a great time of Worship and Praise out on the lawn! Nursery and Toddler care is available. Bring the family and come on out!

VBS: Come hit the “Beach” with us at Vacation Bible School, August 1^st – 5^th, from 4:00 – 7:00pm. You may register your children, grades K – 6^th today in the Foyer, or online at www.calvaryplacerville.com. Come join us for Bible lessons, food and fun! For questions, please see Pam Logan.

YAF: Due to Vacation Bible School, the August 1^st YAF meeting will be at the Ellis’  home.

Pure Life: Registration forms and flyers are now available at the Information Table for A Call to Purity Weekend, presented here Friday, Sept 9^th from 7:00 – 9:00pm, and Saturday, Sept 10^th from 8:30am – 12:30pm. Men, women, and high school students are encouraged to attend. Registration forms and payment can be placed in the Tithe Box, noting “Call to Purity”.

Garden Ministry: Kris Thayer will be stepping down, after this season, from heading the Firstfruits Garden Ministry. We are in need of volunteers to oversee this important ministry. If interested, please contact Kris at kristhayer@att.net. Thank you Kris for all your hard work!

Prayer Chain: Do you love to go before the Lord in prayer with the needs of others? Our Prayer Chain is looking for dependable, faithful pray-ers. You can sign up for days (8:30am – 5:00pm), or evenings (5:00 – 8:30pm), depending on your best availability. If you would like to serve the Body in this way, please sign up at the Information Table and uou will be contacted.

Coffee: You can help support missions in Costa Rica AND enjoy delicious coffee at the same time! Costa Rican coffee is available in the Foyer from our youth this morning for a donation of $15.00 a bag. A portion of that may be tax deductable; please call the Office for more information.
